Size It Up: Free Size Comparison Game
Match the silhouette to its real-world scale.
Size It Up is a free size comparison game that runs in your browser. A blue reference object sits on the ground line. A red object waits beside it. Your job is to drag and resize the red one until it matches its true size next to the reference, then lock your guess and see how close you got. The catalog has 300 objects and 44,850 possible levels (every unique pair combination). A round takes under a minute, and you do not need an account or a download.
Some rounds are easy, like a mug next to a pen. Others are not, like a tower beside a coin, or a planet beside a city. That jump from everyday scale to cosmic scale is what makes this size guessing game hard to put down, and a good way to find out how well your gut understands the world.
What Is Size It Up?
Size It Up is a visual size estimation game. You are not typing a number. You are looking at two shapes and deciding how big one should be compared to the other. That is closer to how we judge size in real life, which is why people who are great with numbers can still be wrong by a factor of ten here.
With 300 cutouts, every unique pair is a level: that is 44,850 possible levels (300 × 299 ÷ 2). Each visit shuffles that full pool, Round 1 is random, and no pair repeats until you have cleared the deck. Under that shuffle, the chance of randomly landing the exact same level again is 0.00223% (1 ÷ 44,850). If you played every level in series at 30 seconds each, you would need about 374 hours (roughly 15 and a half days straight) before you looped back to level 1. Rounds mix everyday objects, landmarks, animals and space-scale objects. This game is independent and is not affiliated with Magnitudle. The art and rounds are original.
How to Play the Size Guessing Game
- Look at the blue reference object. It is the correct size, so use it as your ruler.
- Read the name of the red object so you know what you are sizing.
- Drag the red object to move it. Use the corner handles to resize it.
- Zoom if the objects are too small to see. Pinch, scroll, use the plus and minus buttons, or use the arrow and plus/minus keys. Zoom changes only your view, not your guess.
- Press GO to lock your guess. A ghost outline shows the true size.
- Press Next to move on to the next round.
How Scoring Works
Every locked guess scores up to 100 points. Scoring is proportional, so what matters is how far off you are in ratio, not in pixels. Within about 6% of the true size scores a full 100. Being twice too big and being half too small cost exactly the same. Being five times off scores zero. Your best session score is saved on your device only.
Tips to Guess Sizes Better
Get the order of magnitude first
Decide whether the red object is smaller than, about equal to, or many times bigger than the reference. Fix that before you fine-tune. Most big misses come from being off by a whole order of magnitude, not by a few percent.
Think in reference units
Ask “how many blue objects tall is this?” A building might be about 40 reference-widths tall. That turns a vague feeling into a count you can check.
Anchor to the ground line
Keep standing objects on the ground line so you judge height honestly. Floating objects make everything feel bigger or smaller than it is.
Use zoom to see, not to guess
Zoom makes tiny shapes visible but does not change the answer. Zoom in to place the handles precisely, then zoom out to judge the ratio.

Why Play This Size It Up Instead of the Daily Puzzle?
Magnitudle popularized the daily Size It Up format, and it is still a great once-a-day ritual. This page is for people who finish those five comparisons and still want more. Here is what you get on iambored.blog that most clip-driven alternatives do not offer together:
- No daily limit. No midnight lock. No “come back tomorrow.” Play another round the second you finish one.
- No login and no download. Free in the browser. No account wall, no app install, no email gate.
- More permutations. 300 photoreal objects and 44,850 possible levels. Same-level chance under our shuffle is 0.00223% (1 ÷ 44,850). A full series at 30 seconds per level is about 374 hours before you return to level 1.
- Practice mode energy. Chase a local best score across a long run instead of waiting on a five-puzzle daily.
- Mobile-first controls. Touch, mouse, and keyboard, with view zoom that does not cheat your guess.
We are not affiliated with Magnitudle. The art and rounds here are original. Use the daily game when you want the official ritual. Use this one when you want the same resize mechanic without the ceiling.

Yes. It is completely free to play in your browser, with no download, no account, and no paywall. There is also no daily limit, so you can keep playing after a short break without waiting for midnight.
02How is this better than Magnitudle Size It Up or other daily size games?
Magnitudle is the original daily version and great for a five-round ritual. Ours is built for unlimited play: no login, no daily lock, 300 photoreal objects, and 44,850 possible levels so you can practice as long as you want.
03Is there a daily limit?
No. Unlike daily puzzle sites that stop after a handful of comparisons, you can play round after round here with no "come back tomorrow" wall.
04Do I need to log in?
No. There is no signup, no email gate, and no account required. Only your best session score is saved locally on your device.
05How many levels and combinations are there?
300 objects make 44,850 possible levels (every unique pair combination). Round 1 is random and no pair repeats until you clear the deck. Under our shuffle algorithm, the chance of randomly getting the same level again is 0.00223% (1 ÷ 44,850). Play every level in series at 30 seconds each and you need about 374 hours, or roughly 15 and a half days straight, before you come back to level 1.
06How is my score calculated?
Each locked guess scores up to 100 points based on how close your size is to the true size in ratio. Within about 6% scores 100. Twice too big and half too small score the same. Five times off scores zero.
07Can I play on my phone?
Yes. Drag with one finger, resize with the corner handles, and pinch to zoom. Zoom only changes your view, not your guess.
08Is this the same as Magnitudle?
No. Size It Up on iambored.blog is an independent game and is not affiliated with Magnitudle. The art and rounds are original. Use Magnitudle for the official daily puzzle; use ours when you want the same resize mechanic without a daily ceiling.
09Does the game save my progress?
Only your best session score is stored, locally on your device. No account is needed.
10How can I get better at guessing sizes?
Get the order of magnitude first, think in reference units, keep objects on the ground line, and use zoom only to see the shapes clearly. Unlimited rounds help more than a short daily set because you can practice the same skill many times in one sitting.
